This course is designed for the student who already possess a valid lifeguard ceritification and is seeking addititonal lifeguard training to be able to respond effectively in a water park or amusement park, and obtain employment as a professional lifeguard at a water park or amusement park.
The course is made up of two parts.
Part one is completed online and in the comfort and convenience of your own home as a self-study module. In this portion of the course, the student will read and study the required course materials, and view any required video. The student is expected to comprehend the material in part one sufficiently to be able to effectively participate in training and complete the required testing during part two of the course.
Part two of the course consists of one day of in-person training with one of our instructors. During this portion of the course the student will receive in-person instruction and perform hands-on lifeguard water park skills.
Upon Successful completion of this course, the student will receive a certification in Lifeguard Water Park, thereby enabling the student to obtain legal employment as a professional lifeguard at a water park amusement park.
Pre-requisites: Participants must posses a valid lifeguard certification, be 15 years of age by the end of the course; swim 500 yards continuously using a combination of crawl, breast, and side strokes; surface dive to a minimum of 7 feet and retrieve a 10 lb. object; tread water for 2 minutes using legs only. There are no guarantees that every student will pass the course.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The Aqua Sports, Inc. can not refund payments for any classes unless we cancel the class. If a student cannot attend a class which the student purchased or scheduled, the student will be issued a credit for another class. This credit must be used within 90 days. If, during the scheduled training, a student is incapable of satisfying the minimum certification requirements of a course the student purchased, the student will be invited to purchase the course again and repeat the training.
