Belize. Belize is a small, peaceful, English speaking Central American nation, known for its rich Mayan culture, eco-tourism, beautiful tropical atolls, hundreds of sand cays, and perhaps the best diving in all the world. Just minutes off the coast of Belize is the Meso-American Reef, the earth’s 2nd largest coral reef, an unspoiled ecosystem of crystal-clear, warm tropical water, teeming with sea life, such as whale, bull, black tip, hammerhead, and nurse sharks, dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, manta rays, sting rays, eagle rays, moray eels, and countless colorful tropical fish. You’ll reside 25 miles off the coast of Central America, on a tiny private tropical atoll, complete with a secluded white sand beach, individual cabanas perched atop the water, and a mangrove forest. Each morning we’ll head out aboard a 52’ luxury dive boat to the best and most remote areas of this tropical wonderland. Join us for the dive adventure of a lifetime!
Dive the “World Famous Blue Hole.” The Blue Hole is considered to be one of the most amazing dives in all the world. It is the remnants of a sunken tropical atoll, forming a perfect circular coral column that descends 450’ straight down, and 1,850’ wide. Inside the Blue Hole (actually, a coral column) the calm, transparent water is teeming with large sea life, Bull Sharks, Black Tip Sharks, stalagtites (rock formations hanging downward), and abundant tropical coral. As you drop in, schools of Bull Sharks and Black Tip Sharks greet you at 15’, and follow to 100’ as you descend the sheer wall to a max diving depth of 130’. From 100 to 130’, you will be amazed by a forest of massive underwater stalagtites, as you swim through these enormous and ancient geological marvels. Upon ascending, the curious sharks and big fish will be waiting for you. Feel your heart pounding and your adrenalin pumping as sharks as large at 10’ swarm around you and follow you all the way back to your boat. Truly amazing!
Dive the Meso-American Reef. The Meso-American Reef is the 2nd largest coral reef system in the entire world, and the largest in the northern hemisphere. Diving on the reef is nearly limitless. Explore deep groves, cruise steep canyon walls, and hanging gardens of coral and sponges. Because of the size of this spoiled ecosystem, and the plentitude of life, many agree that the Meso-American Reef has all the splendor of the Great Barrie Reef before it was eroded by massive commercialism.
Dive Turneffe Atoll. Turneffe Atoll is thought by locals and well-traveled divers to be the best of the best. Steep 1,000 foot walls, lush tropical flora, bountiful sea life, alive with Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Whale, Bull, Black Tip, Hammerhead, and Nurse Sharks, Great Barracuda, Manta Rays, Eagle Rays, Sting Rays, Moray Eels, and so much more! Turneffe Atoll is simply a diver’s remote, tropical, unspoiled paradise.
Nurse Shark & Sting Ray Encounter. Dive Hol Chan – Belize’s only National Marine Preserve. Dive, snorkel, swim, pet, feed, and play with Nurse Sharks and Sting Rays. Explore this pristine, underwater environment boasting a large variety of corals and marine life. A photographer’s fantasy.
Dolphin Encounter. In a calm tropical lagoon, with experienced Dolphin trainers, get up close and personal with Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. Hug, kiss, pet, and play with these lovable, friendly dolphins. It is nearly impossible not to smile and laugh out loud. Photo opts aplenty!
Kayak The Mangroves. Adventure into the mangrove forests, home to the Central American Crocodile, Manatee, exotic creatures like the Cherry Lipped Bat Fish, and much more. Paddle through the winding shallows or head out to sea and explore one of the nearby sand cays. While paddling peacefully offshore, enjoy a colorful, picturesque sunset. Be sure to bring your camera!
